Dan Smigrod is Founder, CEO and Chief Photographer for We Get Around. Dan’s company, creates We Get Around WalkAround™ 3D and VR Tours – powered by Matterport. These immersive and autonomous tours are like Google Street View on Steroids. In the film and television space, beyond the fandom interactive experience, Dan predicts that innovation in 3D and Virtual Reality (VR) Tours will help Georgia:
✓ Increase film/TV production by disrupting – in a good way – the location scouting process
✓ Enable pre-visualization of locations by out-of-state episodic directors
✓ by innovating in how production designers use 3D data of spaces to save time and money
We Get Around clients includes: LocationsHub (a marketplace to help film/TV productions find locations); Turner; and luxury hotels; and luxury real estate agents and brokers.
In addition to Turner, for 20+ years, Dan has worked with clients such as AMC, CMT, TV Land, Nickelodeon, Spike TV, A&E, Twentieth Television, Disney on Broadway and Blue Man Group.
