I built the new ProductCamp Session Voting App with Claude Code, and the fun twist is we still won’t know if it actually works when I pitch this session. Even so, the build taught me a ton. The app quietly uses AI to fix a few long standing headaches for organizers, but the real lessons were pure product. Better requirements. Scope creep that pushed back. Getting annoyed at the engineer when the engineer was me. Vibecoding felt magical and also drove me nuts. This will be a town hall conversation. I’ll share what I learned through a product lens and you can jump in with what you would have tried or how you handle this kind of chaos.

Presented By
Jason Brett
Jason Brett has spent more than twenty years building products, shaping strategy, and herding product teams with a mix of optimism, caffeine, and occasional disbelief that people still let him near roadmaps. He led global product teams at Acoustic after IBM scooped up Silverpop, where he helped create things like Universal Behavior, Smart Content, and other AI powered goodies long before everyone pretended they invented AI yesterday.
After launching Product Coffee, Jason joined Method and worked with companies of every size to sharpen their product strategy and get new ideas into the market without losing their minds. These days, he focuses full time on Product Coffee, running workshops, coaching product pros, and building a community that actually feels like a community.
Jason has managed a nine figure product portfolio, spoken at global events, and helped teams rethink how they create and deliver value. He’s also the force behind ProductCamp Atlanta, the longest running ProductCamp on the planet, and the guy who keeps putting public pianos around the city through Play Me Again Pianos because the world could use more music and fewer boring meeting rooms.
When he is not coaching product managers or shipping something new, he is probably tinkering with another AI experiment that seemed like a great idea at 1 AM.
ProductCamp Atlanta is a collaborative, participant-organized professional unconference, focused on Product Management, Marketing and UX topics. What’s great is the variety of sessions that are offered by our attendees. You’ll have the option to select from several different sessions throughout the day. We need you to share your insights in a panel, workshop, or presentation. Click here to submit a session, and don’t forget to register to attend!
