Your Next User Isn’t Human: Three Doors Into Your Product, and Who Holds the Keys

ProductCamp 2026, Session Proposals

For twenty years, your UI was the front door. Integrations came in through it too from marketplace tiles, connect buttons and embedded experiences built for humans, with APIs for the developers behind them. Now there’s a third user. Salesforce lets agents run its entire platform through APIs and MCP, no browser required, and plans to meter every call. Shopify stores answer AI agents directly. Atlassian lets Claude and ChatGPT read and update Jira and Confluence. Agents are coming in through the side door.

Drawing on years of designing integrations, this session explores what changes when you design for three users: humans, developers and agents. What breaks for PMs includes seat pricing, engagement metrics and on-boarding. What’s left of the integration UI is human governance, consent, review, exceptions and revoking access. And where PMs add value when agents can build the connections themselves.

You’ll leave with three questions to take back to your team on Monday.

Matt Green is a product leader focused on Marketplace integrations, API platforms and embedded experiences. Over more than eight years across payments, API platforms and data analytics, he has designed integrations for the people who use them and the developers who build on them, with hands-on experience in analytics, accounting and finance operations. Today he still delivers embedded experiences for humans, while focusing more and more on the agentic experience. The APIs and MCP servers that let AI agents work with software and connect systems too. Matt co-hosts the Product for Product podcast, where he talks with product leaders and product managers about the tools, frameworks, books, strategies and AI that shape their work.

ProductCamp Atlanta is a collaborative, participant-organized professional unconference, focused on Product Management, Marketing and UX topics. What’s great is the variety of sessions that are offered by our attendees. You’ll have the option to select from several different sessions throughout the day. We need you to share your insights in a panel, workshop, or presentation.
