As you know, ProductCamp Atlanta is free to attend. To make that possible we rely on volunteers from our community to really make things happen. There are a ton of ways you can volunteer and be a part of the team! Right now, here are some of the roles we need to fill, organized by team:
Sponsorships Team
Curious about the sales and customer success side of product? The Sponsorship Team is your chance to build real-world skills in outreach, partnerships, and business strategy—while helping fuel ProductCamp. It’s a fun, high-impact way to grow your network, flex your leadership muscles, and work with some amazing people. Let’s make big things happen together!

Marketing
1. Email Marketing Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Manage email campaigns and segmentation in Mailchimp.
- Draft and schedule email content.
- Analyze email performance and optimize strategies.
Expectations:
- Prior experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp preferred).
- Ability to create engaging and effective email content.
- Commitment to attend regular meetings with the Marketing Lead and communicate via Slack.
2. Social Media Manager
Responsibilities:
- Create and curate content for social media platforms.
- Engage with followers and respond to inquiries.
- Track and report on social media metrics.
Expectations:
- Experience managing social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook).
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and engagement strategies.
- Commitment to attend regular meetings with the Marketing Lead and communicate via Slack.
3. Content Creator
Responsibilities:
- Develop blog posts, articles, and video content.
- Work with speakers to gather content and promotional materials.
- Ensure consistency in tone and branding.
Expectations:
- Strong writing and content creation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with speakers and team members.
- Commitment to attend regular meetings with the Marketing Lead and communicate via Slack.
4. Website Manager
Responsibilities:
- Update website content regularly.
- Ensure website SEO and performance optimization.
- Manage the registration process and troubleshoot issues.
Expectations:
- Experience with website management platforms (WordPress preferred).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Commitment to attend regular meetings with the Marketing Lead and communicate via Slack.
Sessions Team
4. Session Recruiter
Responsibilities:
- Identify and reach out to local product professionals, thought leaders, and executives.
- Encourage potential speakers to propose sessions for ProductCamp.
- Maintain communication with the event team about speaker status and session proposals.
Expectations:
- Strong network within the product management or related fields.
- Ability to engage and persuade individuals to contribute their expertise.
- Commitment to attend regular meetings with the Session Lead and communicate via Slack.
Session Coach
Responsibilities:
- Work with volunteer session leaders to help them craft compelling session descriptions and pitches.
- Provide feedback and brainstorming support to refine session ideas.
- Ensure speakers feel confident and prepared for their presentations.
Expectations:
- Strong communication and feedback skills.
- Experience with public speaking, presentations, or coaching.
- Commitment to attend regular meetings with the Session Lead and communicate via Slack.
Sponsorships
Sponsorship Recruiter
Responsibilities:
- Identify and reach out to potential sponsors to support ProductCamp.
- Present sponsorship packages and follow up to secure commitments.
- Maintain relationships with sponsors and ensure they have a positive experience leading up to the event.
Expectations:
- Strong sales outreach and follow-up skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate the value of sponsoring ProductCamp.
- Commitment to attend regular meetings with the Sponsorship Lead and communicate via Slack.
Technology
WordPress Website Manager
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the ProductCamp Atlanta website using WordPress.
- Collaborate with content, marketing, and tech teams to publish new pages, announcements, and event updates.
- Troubleshoot basic issues with plugins, themes, or formatting.
- Help improve the user experience and keep the site looking sharp and current.
Expectations:
- Comfortable working in WordPress (experience with page builders like Elementor or WPBakery is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is helpful but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to jump in and figure things out.
- Availability to attend regular check-ins with the Technology Lead and communicate via Slack.
Zapier Automation Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Update and improve existing automations in Zapier.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation.
- Collaborate with the event team to ensure smooth integration of tools and systems.
Expectations:
- Experience with Zapier (Zapier Tables and Interfaces experience is a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to attend regular meetings with the Technology Lead and communicate via Slack.
