Each attendee will be encouraged to extrapolate new ideas and develop a job search plan by the end of the class.

Monique Shaw
Monique Shaw is a Master’s Degree candidate in Product Management at Maryland Institute College of Art, class of December 2024.
In addition to her Product Management degree, she also holds a second Master’s degree in Project Management Information Systems from the University of Arkansas Grantham.
Monique is no newbie to the IT industry and has held technical analyst and technical positions at Coke-Cola, IBM, Securities First Technologies, and Solvay Pharmaceuticals just to name a few.
Her proudest role, which amplified her love for product management was leading the concept and creation of a ride-share app during the Covid lockdown which made its first $100K within its first startup quarter.
When she is not studying product management, Monique serves as a new agent mentor at Virtual Properties Realty in Duluth, GA helping new agents get acclimated to the industry by obtaining their first four deals.
She is also a recent recipient of the Morehouse School of Medicine/NCBON Unsung Hero’s award to recognize community leaders who have made significant contributions to public health and community service through her advocacy of real estate within underserved communities.
Monique is leading this workshop today to share her favorite subjects of technology and sales. Her mission is to leverage research on how job seekers can sell their skills and uniqueness to interested employers.
