This year at ProductCamp Atlanta, we’re ditching the paper ballots and dot stickers for something way better: our brand-new electronic voting app at vote.pcampatl.com.

No more lines. No more confusion. Just simple, fast voting from any device – even while you’re still nursing your first cup of camp coffee.

Here’s how it works.

Why We Built This

For years, we’ve used dot stickers and paper ballots to democratize the session selection process. It worked… but let’s be honest, it had its quirks.

Long lines during voting time. Manual counting delays. That one person who always used all their dots on the same session (you know who you are).

This year, we built a custom voting app that keeps the democracy, loses the chaos, and gets you back to networking faster. Plus, you can browse sessions and plan your votes before you even get to SCADshow.

Win-win.

Getting Your Access Code

Every registered camper gets a personal access code via both email and text before Saturday. Think of it like your voting password – unique to you, and the key to shaping the ProductCamp schedule.

Your access code unlocks:

Session browsing (see what’s being proposed)
Bookmarking (star your favorites before voting opens)
Voting power (help decide which sessions make the cut)
Real-time updates (catch new sessions as they’re submitted)

Important: Don’t share your access code. It’s tied to your registration, and sharing it basically lets someone else vote as you. Not cool.

Visit vote.pcampatl.com and log in with your code. Make sure it works on your phone. Bookmark the page. Done in 30 seconds.

Browse What’s Cooking

Check out the proposed sessions. Read the descriptions. See what your fellow product pros want to talk about. New sessions can pop up right until Saturday morning, so keep refreshing if you’re curious.

Star Your Favorites

See a session that speaks to you? Click the star icon to bookmark it. These don’t count as votes yet – they’re just your personal short list to help you remember which sessions caught your eye.

Saturday Morning – Game Time

Show Up for Session Pitches (9:15-9:45 AM)

Every session leader gets 30 seconds to pitch their topic. This is where you hear the passion, the energy, the “I REALLY want to talk about this” vibe. Take notes. Update your mental favorites list.

Cast Your Votes (~9:45 AM)

When voting opens, pull up vote.pcampatl.com on your phone. Browse the full list (including any walk-in sessions from Saturday morning). Vote for the sessions you want to attend. You’ll see a confirmation when your vote counts.

Watch the Magic Happen

Voting closes at a set time (we’ll announce it at kickoff). Votes get tallied instantly – no manual counting, no waiting around. Top sessions are announced, the schedule gets published to pcampatl.com/schedule-2025 AND right in the app, and we’re off to the races.
