What Intelligence Operatives Know That Product People Don’t

ProductCamp 2025, Session Proposals

8-time ProductCamp award winner David Eckoff returns with a brand new session. Joined by Erika Baker, Senior Director of Product at Tropic, bringing her real-world insights to your learning.

This session tackles one of the biggest problems we all face in product development. We all know to talk with customers before building products. But customers aren’t entirely forthcoming—are even untruthful. Their answers to questions send us down the wrong path. And we don’t even know it’s happening. This creates big problems for product teams.

We’ll share methods we’re using now—drawn from intelligence operatives—that will enable you to get the most powerful information from people. And start discovering truth about your customers.

► Learn how intelligence operatives get the most powerful information from people—and how to apply their techniques in customer discovery
► Understand why your best questions are killing customer insights
► Discover one small shift that can transform your results

Join us at ProductCamp Atlanta 2025 to vote on this session and dozens of others! The attendees will choose the agenda for the day, and can be part of it!
