Abstract:

Many innovations depend on serendipity today. Small companies and starups dont have resources for full-fledged research departments. Anyway the the top-down approach in those departments doesn’t really work for corporations. Taming innovations with a steady high speed and substance is difficult.

This presentation opens a discussion on how to formalize the bottom-up approach that is typical for small companies. It shows a method how to get rid of serendipity and gain predictable as well as low-costs innovation research.
