It works well with a flow of simple ideas in unsaturated markets. Ironically, it also delivers performance characterized by low innovation profile. Nurturing truly innovative products requires more sophistication, that sometimes considered to be an art rather than science.
This presentation explains several basic tools that take art out of innovative product development. It outlines the business process build up and required organizational labor division. Repeatable innovation on a conveyor belt is simple and it is attainable.
